In May 1986, Karel Gott made a guest appearance at the Palast der Republik in Berlin. With the Ladislav Staidl orchestra and guests such as Darinka, the singer from Prague thrilled his East Berlin audience. Of course, hits such as "Babicka" and "Wenn ich Dich nicht hätte" were not to be missed in his program.
