The Game

Original title: Spēle

In a Latvian town where a factory employs mostly young women, every single man is suddenly in high demand. Freshly demobilised from the army, Kaspars arrives hoping to meet Marika, the girl he believes he has been corresponding with during his service. But Marika knows nothing of the letters—and Kaspars himself has been hiding behind a false identity. As the truth begins to unravel, a tangled romantic game takes an unexpected turn.
