The Ravine of Death

Original title: Die Schlucht des Todes

Marie, the daughter of a miner, is pregnant and has been abandoned by the father of her child. A gas leak triggers an explosion that buries them. Luciano Albertini performed sensational stunts at dizzying heights, filmed on the cliffs of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains or on imposing railway bridges. The tragic and sensational film culminates in a spectacular climb, a fall, and a rescue operation on the cliffs.
