Solihin is torn between popularity and religious obligations. He is ashamed to learn to recite the Quran because he fears his popularity will be damaged. Meeting Iffah motivates Solihin to resolve his weakness of not being able to recite the Quran. Is he truly sincere in wanting to change, or is it merely to win Iffah's heart?
