Lappen: A Tragedy.

Original title: Lappen: Eine Tragödie.

“A living washcloth dreaming of stardom struggles to be taken seriously as an actress—until she lands a stunt-double role in a blockbuster and dares to hope for recognition.”

Lappen is an ambitious actress — and a washcloth in a world dominated by humans. Despite her acting training, she fails to make a breakthrough at a small theater. Her appearance and the patriarchal environment confine her to minor roles. At the lowest point of her career, she decides to try her luck in the film industry.
