Gucci: The Empire of Scandal

Original title: Gucci : luxe, drame et volupté

Conspicuous luxury with the famous double G. Divided family empire, culminating in fratricidal and deadly struggles in 1995 with the murder of Maurizio Gucci by his ex-wife, Patrizia. Provocative style, notably with the transgressive porno chic invented in the late 90s by Tom Ford. A war at the top of the luxury groups, pitting moguls Bernard Arnault and François Pinault against each other to take over the house – a war Pinault won after 30 months, making Gucci the flagship of the Kering group today. No other fashion house has had such a wild and boisterous history as Gucci. This film will bring to light the breathtaking saga of this house that is more than a century old, and still at the pinnacle of its creative power.
