Zambra

A look at the history of Sacromonte, Granada’s Romani cave neighbourhood, scarred by the 1963 floods and now overrun by tourism. Through the flamenco zambra, which recreates an almost forgotten Gitano wedding ritual, the film portrays a community striving to keep its traditions and identity alive.
